Not all pets love the snow, but for those who do, it can be an absolute blast! Here are some great ways to let them enjoy it safely:
Winter Walkies: Many dogs love romping through fresh powder. Just be sure to dry their paws afterward to prevent irritation from cold and moisture.
Snowball Fetch: A fun, mess-free alternative to regular fetch—just don’t be surprised if your dog eats the ball before returning it!

Things to Watch Out Fur!
While winter can be wonderful, it does come with a few hazards:
Salt & Ice Melt Products: Many sidewalks and driveways are treated with salt or chemicals that can irritate paw pads and be toxic if ingested. Wipe your pet’s paws after walks and consider pet-safe booties.
Antifreeze Danger: Antifreeze has a sweet taste that attracts pets, but even a small amount can be deadly. Keep it stored safely and clean up any spills immediately.
Frostbite & Hypothermia: Just like us, pets can get too cold! Watch for shivering, lifting paws, or signs of discomfort, and limit time outside when temperatures drop.
